Lieutenant John Thorpe, Seminole County Sheriff's Office (Retired)
Lt. Thorpe retired from the Seminole County Sheriff's Office after 30 plus years of credible service. He was the Operational Commander of the Detective Division since 1991 and as such had overall responsibility for Homicide, Major Crimes, Victim Services, Warrants, Auto Theft, Economic Crime and Computer Forensics. He is currently a Reserve Deputy Sheriff with Seminole County, an adjunct Instructor at Seminole Community College since 1984, the Treasurer for the Florida Polygraph Association and the 2005-2008 Vice President for the National Association of Bunco Investigators Inc. (NABI).
Since 1997, Lt. Thorpe has researched the .Transient Criminal., taught on the subject matter for law enforcement, the Florida Attorney General's Office and for NABI. He continues to actively research transient offenders and those whom target our elderly.
Lt. Thorpe is available to instruct on the subject matter to any law enforcement entity and is a Certified Law Enforcement Instructor for Florida FDLE/CJSTC.

Detective Bradley S. "Bubs" Bryant, Wichita Police Department, Financial Crimes Section
Det. Bryant has 28 years civilian and 7 years of military police experience and has held a variety of positions including patrol officer, vice operative, case review officer, robbery/homicide, bunco crimes, burglary crimes, and financial crimes during his tenure with the Wichita Police Department. He has been a crisis negotiator with the Wichita SWAT team for 19 years responding to a wide variety of crisis events. Det. Bryant teaches financial crimes, crisis negotiations, and behavior modifications for the Wichita Police Department Academy. He has been involved in public speaking around the State of Kansas since 1983 speaking on general police activities, organized criminal groups, financial crime trends, metal theft, forgery and fraud and crimes against the elderly. Det. Bryant is the Secretary for the National Association of Bunco Investigators (NABI), a member of the Sedgwick County Triad, a founding member of the Kansas Association of Hostage Negotiators, and a member of the Wichita Employees Emergency Assistance Council. Det. Bryant is a member of the Crosswalk Players a small acting group and writes and publishes his own original poetry.
Det. Bryant is available to speak on crimes against the elderly, emerging criminal trends in the area of forgery/fraud and identity theft, metal theft, a wide variety of criminal frauds and organized transient criminal groups as well as traveling criminal family groups, general financial crimes and crisis negotiations.

Senior PCO Dirk Moore, Texas Department of Public Safety (Retired)
Dirk Moore retired from the Texas Department of Public Safety after serving more than 25 years as a police communications operator with the Traffic Law Enforcement Division. With the addition of prior service with the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, he retired with over 31 years of the service to the state of Texas. Mr. Moore has been a member of the National Association of Bunco Investigators, Inc. (NABI) since 1993 and is the current Treasurer.
Mr. Moore has researched Criminal Travelers since 1990 and has instructed classes on these groups at the Texas Department of Public Safety Law Enforcement Training Academy, NABI conferences, TLEIUA (Texas Law Enforcement Intelligence Units Association) conferences, and also provided training to the Texas Department of Public Safety Criminal Intelligence Analyst section. Mr. Moore remains active in the research of these criminals and assists law enforcement agencies nationwide with their investigations.
Mr. Moore is available as an instructor to any law enforcement agency or related organization. Mr. Moore holds a basic instructor's certificate with the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Officer Standards and Education. He is also a certified POST (Peace Officer Standards and Training) instructor in the state of California.

Officer Glenn Hester, Glynn County (GA) Police Department
Glenn Hester started his law enforcement career in 1983 when he joined the Sullivan County Sheriff's Office in Monticello, New York. After working five years there, he moved back to his home state of Georgia and joined the Glynn County Police in Brunswick, Georgia.
Glenn is an accomplished magician as well and has combined both talents to use magic and puppets for crime and drug prevention presentations as well as instructing about confidence crimes and carnival game fraud to local, state and federal law enforcement professionals.
Glenn has a side business and website, where he does crime prevention presentations to law enforcement and civilian personnel. Glenn has authored three books on Police Magic, Con Games and Carnival Game Fraud subject matter. Glenn is a certified state instructor with the Georgia Peace Officers Standards and Training Council.
